Santa's little helper :-D

I've been really busy attempting to create  lots of Christmas decorations for sale at St Saviours Infant School Christmas fair on Saturday, but as usual got distracted!
How cute is this Elf??
My Simply Crochet magazine arrived with the pattern for this lovely elf and a couldn't resist!
I did manage to make some decorations before I was distracted...
A Scandinavian inspired bauble. Really like the simplicity of this although the decoration on the bauble did take a little time and two attempts first go to get just right.
I put a picture of this on Facebook and within moments took an order for two so obviously other people like it as well.
Yay! Always nice to have your hard work acknowledged and liked.

Anyhoo, must crack on so

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

I've gone snow flake c-r-aaaa-zzz-y!!

My sister and brother-almost-in-law, have ordered lots of snowflakes to be part of the Christmas decorations in their pub in Cornwall. Very exciting.

If you want to go and see them in situ then visit The Par Inn in Par during December.

Hopefully she'll send me photos too so we can all see them in their new home.

They really do look like soft fluffy snow. Rather pleased if I say so myself.

Christmas has come a little early 🎅

So my Christmas workshop finally came...and went super quickly!

My aim was for fun, laughter and Christmas crochet. I think, all was achieved.

The table was all laid out...

And off we went...

We were making Christmas decorations from my very first written patterns! Really chuffed.

Here's my examples -
Tree shaped ones and...
Traditional round ones!

It was great fun although I did overestimate what could be achieved once we all got chatting! So the finished products varied in their level of completeness, but here's one of the finished ones -
Yay!

I loved the entire day. It was new for everyone to work with beads and to be creating such a tight shape.

Now to create some more for Christmas Fair sales.

But, in true Hey Hey Crochet! fashion, my mind is buzzing with other things I could create with a bit of bead bling on!

Thought I'd add a little gallery of Christmas decoration images, so sit back and enjoy!!

Did you notice my use of those amazing Pom Pom makers!! Still love those little gadgets of total brilliance!!

A bit of pretty!

I finished my scarf!!! Woo-hoo!
Ooh, for once a photo that clearly shows the vibrant colour of this blue. Nice!
Can't wait to wear this scarf.
It was such a straight forward make that I've already begun the pink one for my December party outing
Oooh, another fab colour photo! (Although if you look below, it looks completely different to the yarn in that picture!)
Not got that far as you can see but well, I've got time...eek!!
Do you remember the skirt-yarn combo I'm working towards??
Here's a little reminder ...
Should look nice I hope!

Now, next week is going to be a big week on my Blog as I'll be revealing my Christmas workshop creations. Feels as though it's been a long time coming but I've so wanted to keep the surprise for those coming to my workshop that I've held off showing you any pictures. Lots to look forward to!
